Every few weeks, I get the question..."Do you photograph dogs?". And I always answer "Yes!". I love, love, love dogs and they are always welcome in the studio or on location. (I think my own dog Scout was photographed as much the first year as my daughter was.)

This sweet Vizsla lives in the neighborhood where the studio is located. I kept seeing her on walks and finally asked if I could photograph her. She was a very active pup when we took this image, but it's amazing what a few bribes with treats can do.

I approach dog photography the same as children's photography (pretty much the same as a two year old). They have funny personalities and I am looking to capture their true expressions to create a timeless image that you'll always remember.

The calendar has a few more coming up...a cute little sheltie (that's going to be on a handbag!) and a pair of cuddly Berners. Better stock up on treats...
