On February 21 (less than a month away!), my family and I are going to Spain - for a month. Yep, I'll be gone until March 21. (Jet lag always seems worse coming back from Europe than going, so I am going to be officially back in the studio on March 24.)

We'll be flying into Madrid and then off to Seville for a few nights. Then we rented a home near the town of Arriate for a couple of weeks. After that, it's on to Granada for a week.

So what does that mean for sessions and bookings? I am going to be checking my email once a week while we are over there, so please send any session requests or questions through the website.

The next available session is the first week of February and the last day that is available is February 14th. All orders from previous sessions must be placed by February 7th and will be ready when I am back in the studio.

I just love newborns! Almost two years ago, I photographed this little one's sister when she was ten days old. Last week, he had his portrait session at nine days old!

Just like life, newborn sessions are unpredictable. During newborn sessions, I've seen completely sleepy babies and really hungry crying babies. Sometimes both happens in a session, other times we get one or the other (in this case, we got both). Either way, capturing their entire personality is great fun - they change so fast!
